New product → content queue
When you add a product in Shopify, a row appears in your content tracker with the title, image and link, and your team is alerted.
Step 1 of 5 · Trigger
Product created
A new product is published in your Shopify store.
What you set up
Add a Shopify “Watch Products” module and choose to run on new products only.
Watch for
Drafts and imports can trigger runs. Filter on status.
Setup steps
Create the content table
Columns: product, link, image link, ideas, status, owner.
Connect Shopify to Make
Use the Shopify module and authorise your store.
Filter what should trigger
Only active, published products should create rows.
Add the optional ideas step
Use a prompt that only uses the product text you provide.
Write the row and the alert
Map fields into Airtable, then send one Telegram message.
Test with a draft product
Confirm drafts do not create rows, then publish a test product.
Test it before you rely on it
- Create a draft product and confirm nothing happens.
- Publish it and confirm the row and message.
- Edit the product and confirm no duplicate row.
Caveats
- Shopify and Make module names and limits change; check your plans.
- AI-suggested ideas must be reviewed. They are suggestions, not content.
